  • How is Timberline Lacrosse different than my local recreational program?
Timberline Lacrosse hires highly experienced female coaches to train our female athletes. Our coaches are a collection of the head high school coaches in Idaho, Montana and Wyoming trained and guided by Lauren Schmidt (Stanford 4 year starter, 2 year captain, All American, 2 time conference Player of the Year, US National Team, former DI coach at UCBerkeley and Fresno State). Timberline Lacrosse attends highly competitive tournaments around the nation focussing on giving the girls exposure and access to as many college coaches as possible.

  • I want to play lacrosse in college. How do I begin the recruiting process?
Timberline Lacrosse supports our athletes in the recruiting process for DI, DII, DIII and club programs nationwide. Our head coach for the Black team, Maddie Northcut, is the Timberline Lacrosse recruiting coordinator. You may contact her directly at maddienorthcut@gmail.com. Timberline Lacrosse attends recruiting tournaments, many of which offer pre tournament Prospect Clinics led by college coaches who will attend the recruiting tournaments. Recruiting information is included in the Timberline Lacrosse communication for each tournament so each athlete knows which coaches will be attending each tournament.
